Mental health is important, and assistance is available

Everyone needs a little help now and again, and for employees enrolled in the District’s insurance program, it’s available around the clock through United Healthcare Behavioral Health.

Employees who are in need can call 1-800-867-6758 at anytime to receive help.

Mental health assistance is available for issues involving life, family, relationships, health, well-being, work, career and finances. Insured employees can also register on the United Healthcare Behavioral Health website at www.liveandworkwell.com

In person appointments with mental health providers require pre-authorization from United Healthcare. You can call 800-867-6758 to request authorization. Also, please confirm with United Healthcare prior to any appointments what your cost will be. Costs vary depending on the medical plan you are enrolled in.

Uninsured Employees can call Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care Behavioral Health Crisis Line at 800-631-1314. Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For medical, police or fire emergency situations always call 9-1-1.
