There may be no group more
susceptible to catching the flu bug than school employees, which is why you should
take advantage of two opportunities the District is offering to get your flu
shot.
The first opportunity is at
Wednesday’s Employee Network Road Show, 2 p.m — 5 p.m. in the gym at Landmark. The shots are free for employees with
GESD insurance. Employees should bring proof of insurance. All others wishing a
flu shot can get one for $14.99. Payments in cash, American Express Card or
debit card will be accepted.
The second opportunity will
take place on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Board Room at the
District Office. Walgreens will provide the shots at their regular cost. This
opportunity is also open to the public.
